Note
4-hydroperoxycyclophosphamide is a phosphorodiamide that is the active metabolite of the nitrogen mustard cyclophosphamide. It has potent antineoplastic and immunosuppressive properties. It has a role as an antineoplastic agent, an immunosuppressive agent, an alkylating agent, a metabolite and a drug allergen. It is a phosphorodiamide, a nitrogen mustard, a peroxol and an organochlorine compound. Perfosfamide has been used in trials studying the treatment of Lymphoma, Neuroblastoma, and Multiple Myeloma and Plasma Cell Neoplasm. Perfosfamide is the active metabolite of the nitrogen mustard cyclophosphamide with potent antineoplastic and immunosuppressive properties. Perfosfamide alkylates DNA, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and RNA and protein synthesis. (NCI04)
